Battery USA, Inc. began operations as ‘Lakeland Batteries, Inc.’ in 1970 as a distributor of new and rebuilt batteries. Through hard work and dedication of service, we have become one of the largest stocking battery distributors in the southeastern United States.

With continuous testing and evaluation of new products, Battery USA provides the most complete coverage of batteries and electrical items in the southeast. In addition to the earned reputation of being a one-stop battery specialist with programs for product supply and service, Battery USA also provides total turnkey services for the telecommunications and UPS industry as well as other technical markets.

During this time span we have enjoyed continued annual growth by successfully executing many initiatives including: offering “just-in-time” replacement services for the mobility and broad-band markets along with replacement battery sales for the UPS and telecommunications arenas.

In 1997 Battery USA, Inc expanded its offerings with professional engineering and installation services. Today, our team of senior engineers and DC power technicians compliment the majority of our proposals. A few professional services from our team of technicians include: power and DC consulting; integration with various power components; installation of batteries and battery racks or cabinets; preventative maintenance contracts for UPS/TEL batteries and battery plants; and proper/manifested disposal of waste batteries.

Battery USA, Inc provides battery replacement sales and services for telecommunications, UPS manufacturers, and third party service providers throughout the Southeast. The corporate office, headquartered in Lakeland Florida, serves as the primary hub for all corporate operations (Finance, Accounting, Legal, Record-Keeping). Satellite divisions maintain inside sales, outside sales, service engineers for specific geographic areas for better customer support and service.

Our marketing model concentrates on replacement battery sales for critical power equipment. The indirect sales associates focus entirely on lead generation for service agreements and battery replacement. The Direct Sales engineers maintain direct contact with larger customers to insure quicker response to specific needs. Through our sales model, dedicated to service and battery replacement, we have secured a customer base, which look to Battery USA, Inc as their one source for all battery and service needs.

With dedicated sales and service technicians, Battery USA consistently renews these relationships and contracts on an annual basis. Our Distribution Centers include seven fully stocked route delivery trucks (33,000 GVW), ten delivery trucks (step vans) for non-scheduled deliveries, four stocking warehouses, and a very efficient shipping department.

This topology allows us to service our UPS and Telecommunications customers throughout the States of Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina on a regular basis. Battery USA is currently providing product and installing DC-related equipment to a very impressive customer base. Our database contains over 250 companies, which are continuously supported to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
